Matikche vade is crispy outside and soft inside. The coarse texture that melts in the mouth. This is best eaten at tea-time or in the breakfast time. Matkiche vade is also a best option for kitty parties or starters for family get together.

Ingredients:

1) 1 and 1/2 cup Moth or Sprouted Matki


2) 1 Onion finely chopped


3) Chopped Coriander leaves


4) 1 tsp Cumin Seeds


5) 15-20 chopped Curry leaves


6) 2 tsp red chilly powder


7) 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder


8) 1 inch Ginger


9) 2-3 green chillies


10) 1 tsp fennel seeds


11) Salt to Taste


12)  Oil for deep frying


Method:

Grind the sprouted matki, green chillies, finger in mixer grinder and make a coarse paste.

Add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, salt, chopped onion, chopped coriander, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and chopped curry leaves and mix it.

Heat oil in a kadai.

Make a small ball of mixer pat lightly and make like patties.

Fry them in a heated oil on medium low flame till they turn to golden brown.

Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
